You are a Peace Patroller, also known as an anti-war liberal or neo-hippie. You believe in putting an end to American imperial conquest, stopping wars that have already been lost, and supporting our troops by bringing them home.

Shut The Fuck Up, New York Times

posted Sunday, 6 July 2008

So-called 'liberal' newspaper, The New York Times, publishes a nice hit piece on Obama targeted at swings on the fence.

He's a flip-flopper. Wow! A politician! You stupid fucks. If Americans weren't so dumb, and actually owned ideologies instead of prejudices, politicians wouldn't have to flip-flop at all. Nowadays, a pol has to be ashamed of his principles because his pool of voters don't have any.

Now, granted, I think that Obama doesn't need swings to win, and this is a boneheaded, albeit tried and true strategy. I suppose with so much at stake in this election, the DNC is not taking any chances. Fair enough. Let's read between the lines and stop taking our candidates so literally. This is an American election, and Duverger's law applies-therefore a big tent strategy is the norm.
